As one of my favorite NYC galleries I figured that bitforms could benefit from a slight rebrand. For this project I wanted the logo to be both refined and experimental; I wrote the gallery name in a typeface called “Tectonic”, then added a ligature and reduced the kerning. The rectangle that holds the logo acts as a variable logotype element, either widening or lengthening depending on the space it is to contain (see the menu bar on the bitforms website). The website is easily navigable, featuring large lettering and user-friendly navigation paired with movement to make the web experience both intuitive and playful.
